Multidisciplinary meetings are held at the surgery every Tuesday morning for the Doctors to discuss with our Community Matron Linda Barlow and District Nurses, care needs of specific patients who are suffering with long term illnesses or require palliative care.

Diabetes Clinic: Led by Dr Sinha and Angela Cook Practice Nurse. Providing complete Diabetic Care linked with the Community DICE (Diabetes Information Counselling & Education Team), with Virtual clinics on site, led by a Consultant Diabetologist.
Church Road Surgery is currently the only practice within the Sandwell & West Birmingham CCG that the DICE team has given as ‘Competent’ in managing Type2 diabetics independently.
Dr Sinha now provides dedicated clinics on a Monday and Friday addressing the clinical needs of those with chronic illnesses. These appointments are specific for diabetes, respiratory and mental health issues. These are longer appointment slots and hence please try to book in advance, having all your blood tests done before hand and don’t miss your appointment.

Routine vaccinations and health checks provided by the practice nurse and a doctor.

Once your pregnancy is confirmed you will need to book an appointment in this clinic to see our midwife.
Dr Sarwar provides a service whereby patients on Warfarin can be monitored in the surgery rather than attended hospital outpatients.
